Tour Summary
Our professional experts will guide you across Banderas Bay to watch humpback whales when you get on board one of our speed boats. We designed this tour to let you take photographs of whales in their natural environment by getting you as close to the whales as possible to capture these memorable moments.
We invite you to come and view these wonderful mammals in their natural setting during the winter months, when Banderas Bay becomes home to migratory whales. Join us and see a group of playful dolphins and maybe even a humpback whale and her young! This whale watching tour is specially designed to give you the most favorable conditions for taking photographs of whales. To obtain the most satisfactory level of visibility, we take you through Banderas Bay to follow the whales on small boats. While you are traveling on our safe and comfortable APEX boats, our expert guides will share with you their dedication to protecting these wildlife, as well as their professional knowledge on the habits and habitats of these amazing sea animals. You will also have the opportunity to watch dolphins playing and jumping in the water as we cross the bay.
We are unable to predict the number of whales we will see or exactly where we will go, because the paths of wild whales are unpredictable, especially when in their natural habitat. You can be certain that this morning on the bay will be an experience you won’t forget. Let us follow the path of the whales while you unwind and enjoy some tasty refreshments.

- Whale Season begins mid December and runs until March 23rd.
- Minimum age: 6 years old
- Child prices applies to children ages 6 to 11. Anyone age 12 years and over is considered an adult
- For safety reasons expecting mothers, and persons with back or neck, conditions restricted
- To ensure maximum visibility, this tour is conducted on inflatable motor boats with no extra facilities aboard
